Volume 6 in the series covers the rural Memorials in Gravesham – from Higham and Shorne in the east to Meopham, Longfield and others to the south and Greenhithe to the west. The memorials include one at Harvel which is believed the first to be created and erected in the country and the one at Stanstead which was originally delivered to the wrong address across the Thames. Again every soldier listed will have a biography created with images added. Our thanks to the Gravesham Memorials Trust for funding the work and the publishing of this volume.
