BOROUGH OF GRAVESHAM - SWANSCOMBE

Remember Me To All - Volume 4

Although Swanscombe is in the Dartford area, it has always been associated with Gravesend and the Borough of Gravesham – thus the inclusion in the series.

Volume 4 focuses on the Memorials in the two Churches of the Parish – St Peter and Paul Church and All Saints Church; the War Memorial in the Recreation Grounds is also included although it carries no names as such.

The book has a lengthy history of Swanscombe and features Joe Hoadley, a veteran of World War 2 whose contribution to the book is fully acknowledged.
